If you like hot dogs and have been to the east coast you probably have heard of Papaya king. They have been featured on many food network shows, I recently saw them on Bizarre Foods. SBE entertainment the company that now owns ALL of the best night clubs in LA has brought them to the west coast, as of right now they have a food truck put their new store front off of Wilcox and Hollywood blvd is opening this month!

I got their original dog the one they are famous for…can’t even tell you what is in it lol but it was pretty good….

And a papaya juice of course!! Try have a huge selection of dogs. Supposedly their chili dogs are suppose to be bomb! Next time! So look out for the truck and the new place on Wilcox! It’s a little slice of NY in LA

I went there to get some gloves for myself….no joke they are awesome for sparring and bag work. It’s nice he makes everyone pay the same seeing as how they are expensive gloves. My friend Sammy and I were like kids in a candy store!
Kazumichi told us of his life story of how much he loves boxing, how he took Mike Tyson to Japan twice and all the girls that were thrown to him, how now he loves whiskey and tobacco, how he has not been back to Japan in decades but still sad about what is happening there and how the future o the Winning company is in jeopardy because the factory got destroyed in the tsunami. Mostly he emphasized how much he has learned to enjoy life, a simply life that is not lived in excess. He tells me the money he makes from Winning is more than enough to support his wife and himself and how people pressure him to expand, but adamantly refuses. He has photos of everyone that crosses his door step. “memories are the most important thing” he told us. He had a life most guys dream of. He stills hangs with the legends….recently he was hangin with Manny Paquaio while he was training. He is one of the coolest people I have met. Though he would say “no no forget that! Kazumichi is not cool” but i would disagree…lol
